Our Experience at the Official Presentation of the 7th Jalisco Avocado Congress 2023
At DisFruta Mich, we are passionate about bringing the best of the agricultural richness of Morelia and our beloved state of Michoacán to every corner. That is why we are proud to share our experience after participating in the launch of one of the most anticipated events in the fruit industry.
Our Experience:
We had the opportunity to attend Expo Agrícola Jalisco 2023, where we witnessed the official press conference led by APEAJAL (Association of Avocado Exporting Producers of Jalisco) to present the 7th Avocado Congress.
During this prominent event, a panel of highly distinguished technical and executive leaders was present:
Mr. Eleazar Oceguera Aguayo, President of APEAJAL and the Organizing Committee.
Armando García Angulo, MSc, Eng. José S. Cortez González, and Eng. Jeison Cortez Ramírez, from the APEAJAL Organizing Committee.
Eng. Jaime Cuevas Zepeda, President of DIMA and organizer of Expo Agrícola.
Omar Francisco Ortega Palafox, MA, representing the Mayor of Zapotlán el Grande.
Eng. Eder M. Becerra Barajas, Manager of the Local Board for Plant Health.
Eng. Alberto Ayala, representative of ASEAJAL.
Miguel Luis Juan Morales, Esq., presenter and member of the Organizing Committee.
Innovation and Sustainability: The Key to the Future
Under the motto "Technology, Sustainability, and Profitability," the Organizing Committee shared the first details regarding the conference schedule and the layout of the trade floor map.
After four years of anticipation, the return of the congress promises to be monumental. It will not only feature an academic program focused on sustainable production and best practices, but it will also host the largest specialized avocado trade exhibition in Mexico.
At DisFruta Mich, we are thrilled to see the immense interest surrounding the avocado industry. We return to Morelia with new ideas, strengthened partnerships, and the motivation to continue driving excellence, sustainability, and the true flavor of our land.
Let's keep growing the agricultural sector together!
